Williston, Ft. Lupton and San Antonio will be the remaining 3 camps when all is said and done. There will be a few satellite camps to linger around as of now. They have already started dismantling the camps in the Rockies. 3rd party contractors are tearing down bulk plants for sc-ap as we speak. Waiting on Halliburton to sell PSLs or merge. Company is trash thanks to Miller. Probably was the long term plan anyway.

I had a manager 30 years ago tell me that the downfall of Halliburton would happen in 1 of 2 ways...faulty O-rings or accountants. Looks like the accountants have run the company into the ground. Good job bean counters!
Rock springs cement still servicing 4 rigs local 4 rigs in vernal and 1 rig In grand junction still got 4 cement crews busy by delivering cement and catching jobs kinda thinking they need to hire a few extra ppl but doubt that will happen
I watched them close a camp that had active local work with the intention of ongoing contracts. They literally laid off both local crews tied to that camp and sent 2 crews from other areas to cover the local work. Why? Because logic doesnt apply!! So like I stated, just because it seems like theres no way it would happen and wouldnt make the slightest bit of sense, doesnt mean its not in your destiny!! Good luck!
To the person who suggested Cement in the Permian will save it.... a lot of camps that are now closed still had active Cement crews. I too watched that occur. Crews can travel and float, just because they're tied to a camp doesnt mean that camp is safe. They literally just spent millions on a bulk plant in Farmington. Loaded 13 loads out of it and now its being demolished. Logic doesnt apply to what the big guys are doing. As for Casper...its always been a poorly designed camp. They have 2 crews with sliwing and questionable work. One of the crews spends a majority of time in Colorado. Casper was once ran by Ft. Lupton. Casper is a short distance from the Ft. Lupton yard and can easily support the 2 crews as their yard is bigger and more equipped to handle. Its only a matter of time. Cost cutting in effect. No one is safe, logic is not applied to this go around. If you make it, congratulations. But keep your eyes open.
Why wouldn’t they leave Casper open?
I'm still getting my million dollars bonuses thanks to the layoffs.
Spent 34 years at hallibortion. The first 20 were good. Stupid bean counters ruined it. Horizontal market is non sustainable
I can only surmise that you are in the northern region, or what it used to be.
Don't forget that the Permian Basin still is performing work in Cementing. I can list 4 active and busy plants easily. How do I know? I've watched it at each plant in the past month.
You might want to reevaluate San Antonio. They have been shipping out to work other areas which means a lack of local work which means unnecessary expenses. I know it sounds crazy and unbelievable but who would have ever thought that El Reno would close.
El Reno is gone and so are all those 'careers' Halliburton promised people Phhhfftt, like a big fart, just a horrid bad smell as they were all thrown out.
Hell yeah, this is going to make one helluva HAL ACADEMY skit.
Where’s that film crew?
