the move of sears IT jobs to India started long before Eddie took over......
Sears Holdings apparently goes back 20 years according to 12ljxBBc-zyp. So, Eddie Lampert merged the two in 1999, not 2005 like news outlets say for their headquarters to have been at HE for 20 years. I'm just curious how Lampert got ownership of Kmart while they were still profitable...

This has been going on for DECADES. about 20 years ago i was laid off at HE when lots of IT work was shifted to india mostly mainframe. Almost 400 lost their jobs. And it didnt even make the news.
Eddie still thinks it's 1998 and he's going to blow $10B building up a dotcom and have a $50 IPO, but he's actually just blowing another $10B
