@12m6JOHe-1ymk If you heard from an Optum VP, it would probably be in everyone’s best interest to become an Amway dowline to secure their position! The inner circle is key if you want to continue to feel safe and have a job within Optum!

What concerns me is the outsourcing of the risk adjustment operations jobs overseas to India and Ireland. This group submits to the US Govt and is putting critical coding, analytics, operational management and director level positions overseas to Ireland, India and the Phillipines. Has anyone asked our State and Federal Representatives how they're regulating this off-shore employee situation or does UHG/Optum off-shore get to run free and submit anything at the US taxpayer expense?

Can anyone confirm that the next wave is expected in March?

They generally take place in one day. I would suspect any "big meetings" today are to address team/Dept structures and go forward strategies for the departments impacted by yesterday's lay off. Based on past experience in my tenure at the company, we won't see the next wave until after 1/1.
