UHG talks about our united culture with compassion being one of the core value. Unfortunately, the truth is just the opposite. It does not matter how many years of service you May have. It does not matter if you always got a performance review of ‘exceeds the expectations’ every year. They will lay you off to meet their bottom line. You give your prime and your youthful years to this company. And they will throw you out like unwanted garbage when you are in your late 40s or 50s. in spite of this, they have the audacity to talk about compassion.

What values? Compassion and relationships mean nothing...it’s all talk
Lay-off is not based on your capability, it’s about saving cost. If you have worked many years then you are paid too much for your ability to take new challenges. If you were management, you would have need doing same thing.
"Integrity" is the one that has always baffled me. The core values all sound great, but it's just a false front. They make you think you're joining an ethical company when you start, but it doesn't take very long to learn how fake they are.
