I was told Wednesday evening about my department being eliminated, we also was advised on the call if we was on there we was safe. However several of my teammates got a email and meeting to where they was moving but others haven’t. Any one else? My nerves are shot

Just got email to go to teleconference and we were all informed we were being let go like we were nothing. Never did they say we are sorry or we will help you find another job inside the company. The director is just worried about saving her job. Forget us. The CEO makes 40 million a year. Get rid of him and save 40 million. No you get rid of all the little people making c-ap. This company is heartless. They don’t care about their employees their members or their providers. They deny claims left and right. Corporate greed hope it all comes back and stock drops to c-ap heartless jerks. Karma is a b–ch.

Me too! Been there 15 years and a top performer. All the higher ups got cut as well. It’s so scary and I hear more in March. I was told for years my department was the number one moneymaker in the company. I guess they exhausted all they needed to out of us. Just a slap in the face.
Likely some have been placed already. others they are still talking to other mgmt teams if they have a role available. Some will not be placed. It is also much easier to place lower grade employees.
We have had to fill positions with others that were suggested options that would otherwise be layed off. Not your area though.
Take a deep breath and remember, you are your greatest resource. No matter what happens, you have all the skills and lessons that brought you to where you are, and no company, no person can take those away from you. Best of luck, and God bless.
