Sams is changing jan1st or feb1, no more cashiers, and no more COS?? YBM gonna talk about new club layouts with little no employees?? This is going to be crazy.

@1qkx Sams Club Now is also a quarter the size of a Sams Club so a quarter of the associates makes sense
what a ridiculous post...really...all cashiers gone? you must be out of your mind. some people must not have lives cos all they do is spread rumors to get everyone upset.

Lie, lie stupid lies. Ok so I think home office does and many corporate offices of other companies want to move to self check or something close to it in the future. In 30 or 60 days?!? No that's just stupid, an a lie.
We ARE moving towards having less cashier's an COS but we will have them for I say 8-10 years. In a reduced role but they will be there.
There will be less cashiers and the cos will have to do other things like stock push carts etc. but you will always have to have someone on the front end.
I can see home office going all out on self checks and getting rid of the cash registers. Would save them a lot of money. Self checks don't need near as many associates to operate. Don't know about eliminating team leads.
This is not true. Quit spreading lies. Our registers don’t even work half the time. Outdated c-ap..They will always have COS if for no other reason to help with these pieces of c-ap....just saying!!!
