Remember Marvin wants you to show courage. The following quote was reserved for the company’s annual employee survey back in October, but we can further our message through viable outlets in the media.
"One of our core behaviors is to show courage, and I ask you to demonstrate that by raising opportunities that need to be addressed," Ellison wrote. "My commitment to you is that the leadership team will use this feedback to make Lowe's an even greater place to work."—Marvin Ellison
Power to the People!
I have been corresponding with a few of the business writers, using a sock puppet email account to preserve anonymity. I have been honest with them about hiding my actual name and location. I keep my remarks to them as factual and objective as possible. I also clearly label my opinion as such.
I hate Lowes "representatives" blank statements such as "to better serve the customer." Its a complete lie. Bold faced!
Its to lay off more people, and spread those left even thinner for coverage. Period! It does the opposite. It serves the customer WORSE! MUCH WORSE.
Lowes is the most unethical, deceptive, manipulative, and dishonest company I have ever worked for. Every word out of a managers mouth is a lie. Thats the truth!
Lowes is morally bankrupt and worsening by the day.
I have. I was one of those who spilled the beans on the low morale at my store. Marvin thinks it’s one store and a small group of employees; boy is he clueless,
Contact the writers of these stories if you have clarifications or further factual information on the topic.
Everyday at my store someone asks “who got fired?” “Who got laid off, who had their position eliminated?” “Who had a breakdown because their job was threatened?”
It’s a sad state of affairs. In a year and a half Marvin has ruined Lowe’s trying to make us into Home Depot 2.0
