They are no good as a company, it who you know , not what you know . To many a– kiss there at that place . Bad management here . To much family and kiss a– supervisor do not know how to run the company.
In efforts to save money NOV has alienated the remaining employees who work under the constant stress of extra work as well as the looming thought of “will I be next.” Laying off people may save in payroll $ but it also breeds an environment of distrust. It sends out a message to our customers that the company is in crisis mode. They in turn lose confidence in our ability to follow through on contracts and deadlines. It is a trip down a rabbit hole! We can’t survive under this leadership. Employees have lost all faith and confidence in them. As far as our customers, they are being entertained by the daily rumors of the constant dysfunction. Our competition is using this opportunity to get their foot in the door. Until they clean house of our current leadership we can’t and won’t survive!!

Well i worked for NOV 15 years and i agree with the guy starting the thread. Company does not value people and hard work any more, they follow their own rules when that fits themselves ( e.g salaries, promotions, leveling) , politics and nicking is more important then ability. So tou tell me - it is not about industry hard times
Ho hum, lots of layoffs in the super inefficient and rampant with nepotism oil industry during a down cycle. Is this your first job?
