Definitely true. Received the email yesterday from the VP of stores. All will be out of Sears stores by February 7.

Another accurate post on here. People flip out and call it fake news. Then it ends up being true. Happens over and over and over.

This site may not be perfect, but compared to anything else, it is the most reliable and accurate source. I wish people would be more respectful to those who post and share information on here.

@12t3rEBa-bev optical and opticians are not paid by or part of sears/transform. They are a licensed business leasing space in stores and are run by Luxottica.

Where is this news coming from? We didn't receive any news about it and I work at the optical department

No surprise. The times I've gone to Sears (many times recently) , the optical center is a ghost town. Hardly ever seen anyone there. I feel for the seniors as it seems Medicare refers them to Sears for their glasses. I'm surprised the optical centers have lasted this long because optometrists or opticians are the highest paid in a sea of minimum wages within the store.
