What are your insights for employees future? What do you think their motive was for giving and extra week/two weeks vacation?
Do you think they are going to lay off more managers starting next year?

Store clerks buying fancy cars. Some things never change. These dipshits should be forced to take a class on personal finance.
The business is needy, so it will be based on its needs...
No commission & managers getting shown the door. I feel bad for some of my former coworkers who think they had a career. Bought houses and Lexus’ thinking they had it all figured out. They will fire you and rehire reps who understand hourly is all they will get.
What do the SMs do anyways. I’m all up for 1GM, 1SM & some id–t who wants to do all the work of an SM for same pay. That should’ve been done long time ago.
STI and LTI going to be a joke
Screen shot this response and then come back and tell me I was right. My 2020 vision is that Verizon retail will have a tremendous amount of changes. The pay and management structure will drastically change. There will also be a whole new sales floor training technique for Solution Specialists .Verizon is prepared that 10-15% of its retail employees will leave based on the changes. Management consolidation will also be a huge factor next year. Remember to screen shot this. This is the way.
Welp, they took away that extra week of vacation when wireless merged with wireline in 2015, and then everything went to $hit. So really they are just giving back what they took away a few years ago.
I'm sure they realized they fukked up and now are back peddling with a million more desireable places to work out there with thd lowest unemployment rate in over 50 years they are scarmbling for people who can make a difference after losing them all to the VSP.
Sell wireline, move HQ to Texas and close or convert 80% of stores indirect.
As for managers, do you think Verizon is top heavy? Do bears $hit in the woods?
Their motive is to attract new talent. Go to work everyday. Earn your salary and benefits. Always be aware that there will be RIFs based on the needs of the business. Be prepared, that's all.
