D--g Test

Rumor has it NS will no longer be testing for m-r-j-a-a. They’re following in the footsteps on MLB.

In the 80's, a coworker of mine got called back after a furlough. They piss tested him. He failed it and was told he could start working as soon as he gave them a clean sample. He did so and went back to work. 15 years later, he went out sick, failed the return to work d–g screen and was fired.

Today, there is no return to work d–g screen, or company physical to return to work after being off sick. I don't know about getting called back after a furlough, but ask anybody you know who has been out sick and they will tell you. No company physical, no d–g screen, not any more.

I’ve never heard of anyone getting a d–g test when getting called back anyway on the mechanical side. Could be unique to where I’m at though I guess.

Yea most employees that got hit won’t be getting called back. Lots of decent paying jobs out there though. You don’t realize how much ns sh–s on there employees untill you start going to interviews and seeing how other companies ones treat there employees. Luckily I found a job with a pension and really good pay to the point even if the railroad does call me back in 4 years I’m telling them to pound sand

If you wann try it, go for it... I`ll just be one person closer to getting called back when you get fired.
