Store managers in my district had a meeting today. Something to do with the ASM's. Store managers requesting info on all ASM's prior to meeting. How long in position, how far willing to travel etc. Anyone else hear about this meeting or what it was about?

"Talent meeting" is really just District Managers telling Store Managers who they want to keep and who they want gone. Not the SM call
A chance to weed out/cull under-performers or ones that the store manager doesn’t like.
1 to 2 ASM positions will be removed under new staffing plans . Confirmed by Lowe’s spokespersons November 30 /19
Did the same thing 3years ago to the week and fired 2 ASMs in each store.
It’s just normal talent planning meetings that happen at the end of ever year. Allows all the managers to get together and discuss their teams as a group. Who is doing well, who is doing bad, who could stand a change of scenery at a new store, possible ready for promotions, managers not cutting it, etc.
