Also in indirect. I’ve heard similar about the potential to drop commissions and roll it into salary. Shouldn’t be too bad as long as they don’t change car allowance. Makes sense to drop commission since there is only so much we can control and change since the people selling for us work for different companies and don’t report to us.
Have not heard about retail and indirect combining under one DM. Although I could see that making sense if they every want retail and indirect to work better together and eliminate the in-fighting
I’m currently indirect. I’ve heard rumors about combining local and retail into one district and having a DM over it. Not hearing much about layoffs, but I would anticipate DM layoffs if any. Have also heard changes to commission and rolling more into just salary. 100k+ job is looking to be a mid 80’s potentially... not cool...
Omni Channel!!!! Here we GO!!!!
All seems quiet on the indirect side to close out the year. Anyone hearing anything?
Lots of changes and realignment back in April. New structure hasn’t even been a year with hybrid reps and new director territories. I’d be surprised if there were huge changes to indirect at the beginning of the year. Seems like they would at least give it a year or more before they made big changes
If that is true, then some of that dead weight better get ready.
Wireless retail indirect is going to be merged with direct retail.
A couple years ago, AT&T outsourced their entire indirect channel and never looked back. Ever since that happened, I have been waiting for Verizon to do the same. Could 2020 be the year?
Help me understand what the “indirect channel” is please?
Wireline? Wireless? Consumer? SLED? Federal? So many questions?
