I did okay last year. Some numbers were overinflated, but for the most part I hit most months and 3 of 4 quarters (missed one by a few hundred).

This year seems like it will be different. The number I had for January may have been attainable if cuts weren't so horrible (even if it was high), but even still it's gonna be hard sledding because quite a few of my stores are taking away overhead space and crunching down on backstock. No loading in, which is the only way to hit some numbers (not that I k–led my stores, but still).

I'm not liking the way this looks at all even without the red flags previously.

It’s exactly how they hit Q4, “load it in” is what my DM tell us! “Get ready for the load” was a common theme quarter close. Retailers lied to, “branch is being painted”, “tired being changed on delivery trucks”, heard it all! When warehouse comes true sales will show! And it’s coming!

Post ID: @epdy+1323oEG4

Weren't there ties with Nestle. They did exact same thing load it in at end of the year.
Nestle is warehouse now...

by
|
Post ID: @esjn+1323oEG4

It’s also called “product loading” and is a violation of the SEC! They want to hit this month since the 29th they will announce missing Q4. Keep the emails directing you to “load”.
Funny thing, it’s also against the code of conduct! They talk out of both sides of their mouths!

The region wants us to push orders into this week and skip the orders for the 1st part of next week to close the gap. It's like robbing Peter to pay Paul

Post ID: @cqki+1323oEG4

There are plenty of people who “do something about it”! It’s up to individuals to determine whether they want to “fight the fight”! The more people that don’t, the more they will continue with this behavior!
They can be a$$holes all they want, but they have to be a$$holes to everyone, not a good virtue to live by! Bottoms line is, when they raise one objective, they typically lower another, look hard at that!

There's policies in place for EVERYTHING, too bad NO ONE follows any policies in this company. The policies are on paper only, for legal protection, then everyone does whatever they want. It's hard, and time consuming to bring legal action for all the wrong doing, and the company knows this, so all the wrong doing, bias, and badness continues. Very sad, this used to be a quality company, but those days are over.

|
Post ID: @9ltl+1323oEG4

What I’m telling you is that there are now policies in place to prevent that!! You need to do the rest! Someone on our team had a 65% increase over PY! What a joke! Like nobody would say anything 🤣. This company is pathetic! Totally pathetic!

by
|
Post ID: @9svo+1323oEG4

Totally agree with that statement. On our team the person leading so far this month is 13% in the hole prior to last year's sales. I'm about 12% down from last year and I'm dead last on the team. One guy in up 5% and is about in the middle of the pack!! What a joke!! DM has his favorites no doubt!!!

I'm sorry, objectives are still being manipulated. If what you are saying is true, 20% fluctuation is a lot, and definitely could be the difference between making it, and not. I personally came up at 100% to objective this year, although I grew my route 5% over prior year, my colleague came up at 106+% over prior year, although they did not grow their route at all, they were actually flat over prior year. Objectives are biased, rediculous, unfair, and complete BS!

I come here for real information not fear mongering bs. At least the people who called everyone a Nabisco cheerleader isn't around anymore cluttering up this forum.

Post ID: @9zui+1323oEG4

The days of objectives being manipulated should be over, thanks to the new policies! No longer can a DM raise an objective more than 20% without valid reason, and that will be hard to prove! They created a problem letting DM’s manipulate numbers! Ask questions IN WRITING, and DOCUMENT everything! Don’t let yourself be a victim!

Exactly! Site is titled “Mondelez layoffs”! Unfortunately for Mondelez they don’t get the element of surprise, except for those that have decided to bury their heads.
It takes time to PROPERLY transition an entire company from dsd to warehouse. Kellogg already had the majority of their product warehouse, only cookies and crackers were dsd so they made the transition faster. Nestle had all the red flags and of you read the posts the Nestle employees share they had every red flag, but missed interpreting them! Zero chance any educated and informed human can miss the red flags for Mondelez’s preparation to leave dsd! WM has already transitioned department 82 and is currently transitioning the remainder of the store. How do you not see that? What, is the “new dsd” about taking away the biggest advantage of dsd? The power of selling? How’s that working for ya, sell in a display and ask a WM employee to order it for you? 🤣 DSD is an outdated model that nobody wishes to currently sustain! There is no such thing as a “new DSD”, except for those who cannot face the reality! This is a transition to warehouse! I’d be ready!

Hmmmm, then that means you've also been hanging around here, on this site too, for years. You could stop coming on this site, and then you wouldn't have to read all the fear mongering going on. Just a suggestion as it seems you may need an intervention of some kind, to get you off a site you don't agree with, but strangly feel compelled to visit...for years.

Same few petty people fear mongering on here for years. Just the same opinionated speculations.

Post ID: @6gbs+1323oEG4

Wow, things are looking a whole lot different where we are! So many signs DSD is ending, especially if you read articles pertaining to the direction of the industry. Mondelez is definitely not an industry leader, they react, not act! And typically they react too late, look at Kraft! Mondelez is known for junk food, not what people want! Mondelez reacted way late adjusting to industry changes! Keep dreaming! For me, too much responsibility to dream! I’d rather live in reality, and that reality involves the end of dsd!

Not branches anymore...DC’s! Big difference! We used to have branches but they were closed and consolidated to open DC’s. Our DC is only operating at less than 1/2 capacity, less than 1/2 the lines were ever opened. They bought the remaining portion of the warehouse, early doubles the size of a half used warehouse. Wonder if the fact that this DC sits halfway between the largest WM grocery DC and a new 60 million dollar Kroger DC? Wonder if this DC will be used for warehouse drops, I mean in case Mondelez goes warehouse? 😂 Seems awfully coincidental! Maybe they just like to waste space? Oh, wouldn’t worry about the fact the company is shutting down deliveries for a day to convert systems 🤣🤣. Oh boy! Glad I got my backup plan laid out!

Yes!! This month is a big $hit show!!! Numbers are way overinflated!!!

Post ID: @5gim+1323oEG4

The day in February may be because of the switchover of the SAP server to the cloud. Just a guess though.

Any of your branches doing updates? Just received a email that no deliveries on a day in February due to the warehouse branch updating the system.

Negativity? We look at it as reality. Perhaps things are different where you are, but for those of us who have worked with this senior management for years, like 20 years, we’ve seen and heard things a little differently! Believe what you want, if you don’t like what you read, simply don’t visit this site! This site is for people to share info about “Mondelez Layoffs”. What part of that are you missing?
DSD is heavily rumored to be ending for Mondelez. It’s informative to have this site for people to share info. Things are happening at different intervals in different parts of the country.
I for one am glad to know what’s going on.

Uh, yeah......do warehouse companies have sales plans? Of course they do! How many flash sales involve warehouse items? Almost all! Be smart!

by
|
Post ID: @1lsa+1323oEG4

They don’t care, because remember....WM was the first customer to exit DSD for previous companies and will likely soon be the first to exit for Mondelez as well. Once WM owns that problem, they will fix it!
How someone could legitimately think that “because there is a sales plan” we aren’t exiting DSD? Wow! Oblivious. These are the people that take what is told to them by GS, hook, line, and sinker...! Very very sad.

It's not you. Definitely the climate. Walmart is hot mess. Reps have no control of the on hands. I create a order for the out of stocks and it adds it on to the EDI order

by
|
Post ID: @1fei+1323oEG4

My Walmart’s are k–ling me with this “fss” wall; “if the product is not on fss, we will not display it” they say. When I try to fix on-hands they say the count can only be changed to zero. My manager stated in my evaluation that these Walmart’s have negative sales and that I need to fix on hands and sale in Displays to fix the problem.
As of now I can’t tell if it’s me, or the climate.
