Looks like about 500 people were laid off late last week, including BD and cloud success managers, etc.
That brings the total since 6/1/2016 to 25,776.
It never ends! Keep looking aggressively if you don’t want to be next!

Was part of the 500 or 1000 or whatever the number was.. Manager called on Thursday, Jan 16 and told me I had 2 weeks to find another role internally. Primarily affected were NAA sales org, some ERP, some SCM, more in HCM with CX being the biggest affected.

2 weeks to find a new role, what a joke! There are no other roles, least of all for people being laid off! #dishonesty
Some folks were given 2 weeks to find a new role, so they still appear in the numbers.
I always found it hard to get the exact number because they are adding new head count while eliminating head count. Curious what the grand total of all employees is now.
I know you are trying to be as accurate as possible and trying to use semi-confirmable numbers, but the 500 layoffs added to your latest total are a fair bit less than the actual number of positions that were eliminated.
You would be better off using a nice round number of ~1,000 positions eliminated last week.
