Why are you doing the thinking for them? Are you in charge? Why on earth do you care? Point is, fire middle management, overpay useless execs. The corporate way... Thanks Joe. Here’s 100 million and please just go. We’ll now fire about 100 people to pay you and then bring in someone new at the same time and overpay them as well. The American Way. Live the dream (if you can afford it).

Warn is for a department that is closing. They will give them two months notice. So most likely they will hear in February if they’re being let go in April.

Cutting cost synergies at this magnitude will take too long through layoffs. And will be too risky to the reputation. They need to make a big aggressive move fast, to push up stock and show the power of VIacomCBS. Something to boost showtime and this premium content pursuit? Starz purchase to expand content offering and license their existing library and IP globally. Or sell showtime off to Hulu/Disney?

In regard to WARN, is that people will be let go this spring or already have been?

By “us” hope you mean ALL THE USELESS EVP’s SVP’s and CMO’s. CMO, lol. You’re not as smart as you think you are. Just a fancy title. Ridiculous salaries for people who steal ideas and have no good ones themselves. Get em all out.

One can only hope the “us” you mean are NOT useless overpaid execs who take credit for the workers work and offer no good solutions of their own. Music? Don’t make me laugh. Music alone doesn’t sell and my grandma making the playlists surely doesn’t help. Good riddance overpaid trash.
