Thread regarding CVS layoffs

so Many people complaining on social media

Have you ever viewed tweets at cvs? All of them are complaining about the length of receipts or the long hold times! Will they taken their customers frustrations into account? So many people complain about long hold times or Rx not being ready due to lack of staff

Exactly my point. They can afford to stay 2 hours past closing to finish production

You can only do so much when there is only two employees working in the pharmacy and there is a line at drop off, drive thru, pick up and 5 pharmacy calls. The calls get put on the back burner. Customers at the store take precedence. Hence the long phone hold times people complain about.

Ok it’s horrible for everyone other than the Boomer who Apparently runs the best store in the history of CVS. It s—s for everyone. Cuts in our hours makes it impossible to give proper care to anyone. Including our teams. On a side note how many hours are you managers working for these cosmetic resets??

SMs have no clue if they think pharmacy can just “adapt” to losing hours like they do. How many phone calls is FS required to make on a daily basis? How many incoming phone calls do you receive? How many mistakes made in FS could seriously harm or even k–l someone?

See, in FS, you can “adapt” how you do something, take shortcuts to get things done quicker, etc. It’s not that easy in pharmacy. We can’t skip a step in the filling process to get a script done quicker or even change the order in which we do them. We have 2-3 people to cover 4-5 work stations most Of the day & corporate keeps adding more and more time consuming tasks. We have mandatory counseling with required elements. How do you suggest we “adapt?”

Pharmacists need to hold their team accountable with a skeleton crew? Yeah ok. They already work hard and this is coming from a store manager that sees his pharmacy team struggle on a weekly basis. Highest script count in our district, no extra hours, but I see my PIC go in 2 or 3 hours early all the time.

Well I’m not a dL buddy. Get your head out of your a–. It’s people like you that make store managers look bad. The ones that sit in the office all day and complain. What is this new generation coming to? Nobody wants to work had anymore and they just want things handed to them. Well I’m a millennial that works hard and gets results unlike the majority of them.

@138ayUMf-1ofu... Use some common sense! You can’t squeeze blood from a stone. Hours cuts and understaffing is a real big issue that can’t always be handled by “just work harder”. Cvs is making it darn near impossible to get anything done these days with hours cuts. And fyi... everything you said feels like it came straight out of the mouth of a DL.

I agree with the guy who says rx managers need to keep their team accountable. Hours is no excuse. As a store manager my hours are chopped as well every year. Just need to learn to adapt. And my store is one of the top stores now in the company.

This is why I refuse to shop there and why I will never use the Health Hub.

I work at Aetna. Had a member complain their RX cost 4x the amount to fill at CVS vs a major big box store. No one can explain why the out of network pharmacy is so much less??? We are taking $300.00 vs $900.00 out of pocket.

Consumers are getting smarter these days and recognizing companies that are not using transparent pricing and are too greedy.

CVS will NOT address complaints in regards to wait times, or long lines at registers, lack of available employees, etc, etc. And this is both RX and FS. A district leader once said that corporate is not going to address customer complaints about no cashiers, and long lines at registers.

Look at cvs Facebook page...customer complains about: Long lines? No employees? High prices? Cvs won’t comment. BUT if you complain about poor customer service, corporate’s all over that and wants you to contact them so they can make it right. Cvs DOES NOT care about understaffing issues and the problems they cause!

Pharmacy managers need to keep their teams more accountable. It’s appalling seeing how backed up they always are. Do your damn jobs! Getting paid 110k for what?
