tech's townhall was worse. they said that offshoring is 50% and they want that to go much higher. they also said that they want to make sure that higher tech roles go to india vs just the basic roles. I think that has to be a companywide number because that number was higher in optum tech townhalls in years past. they aren't lying about it. this is American healthcare that's going offshore to countries that have national healthcare. shouldn't they at least pretend to have a little shame

I didn’t see any lies or deception...they’re being pretty blatant about where things are headed. And what’s depressing is that employees in Ireland have national medical coverage. Employees in India? State administered healthcare. Philippines, national healthcare system as well.

Pretty bold to be touting more offshoring to Ireland at a time when we’re laying off stateside resources...
