Back in 2017 the wonderful UP HR leaked the titles of M&S layoffs and had to lay people off over the phone. One VP was on a plane and landed to find out he had been cut. When I was laid off in October 2018 from M&S it was done over a conference call. The M&S HR at the time we'll call her Penny Pincher had the gall to threaten me not to do anything to jeopardize my severance.
I don't understand the hate for Marketing - most people in Marketing and Sales hate working for the UP as much as you do.

Pay into my retirement for your short stay here at UP because you’ll never get to draw a penny but I do appreciate it. ha ha ha ha ha.
