Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Lack of Management

I'll make this short and to the point. Windstream management is absurd. I'm not even talking about the folks at the top, i'm talking about those all the way at the bottom. PM's and up. It is a JOKE! I know the LR5 had a lot to do with the demise of Windstream but the bottom feeders in management sure didn't help the matter!

Many managers and “key employees” also have a retention incentive plan (“KERP”) to motivate them to stay.

I don’t remember the figures but I think the number was in the ballpark of 100 people (correct me if I’m wrong). The amounts per person varied.

There’s no list of names or positions publicly published to my knowledge.

The managers that remain are staying put because they likely know finding another management position with similar pay and doing such little work will be near impossible to find. They have no interest in trying to motivate anyone or trying to create a better environment. Collect a check and do what the LR5 say.

We’ve got plenty of management, they just seem disconnected from reality at times.

Spoken like the typical incompetent narcissistic bottom feeder manager who's one and only skill is kissing up to his manager. They keep them in solos for a reason.
