Another Xerox guy is on his way out. Herve Tessler, President of EMEA and the one in charge as EMEA had a poor performance in 2019 has now been shown the door under the guise of retirement. After Mike F's demotion and now this, there are few Xerox folks left at the top of the EC. Only Bill O - CFO and Xavier - CFO of Americas are the two who remain from the old guard.

JV sent out email this morning on this. Didn’t even thank Herve for his years of service. 33 years with Xerox and not even a Thankyou - that tells you all you need to know about JV.
To last commentor: Herve sold around 32,000 shares on 12-Sep-2019, but still holds 11,000 shares and has 119,000 RSUs. Herve can retire comfortably based solely on his direct shares alone. It remains to be seen if he loses his RSU value. I hope he writes a book telling us how things have been at the leadership level since Carl. I’d buy it.

Herve apparantly sold all his xrx shares last year, so I think he knew he was going.
By the way, more people under your umbrella doesn’t mean you’re more important. Feldman got the XBS nonsense off his plate. He can now focus on REAL sales. There was no demotion. Bunch of bitter people on this site. Go find jobs.
BO is not old guard.
I do not have any inside knowledge of how Xerox is doing in Europe; but I do know that sales are down across all geographies within Xerox and that cutting staff in Europe takes a lot more time and cost a lot more money than here. Since Xerox’s ‘performance’ right now is wholly based on cost cutting, no surprise that Xerox Europe did poorly in 2019. Since none of the HP cast-offs that JV and Carl have found to fill offices in Norwalk can be at fault, Herve was the natural fall guy.

Herve has a lot of years with the company so he may just be bailing out before the pension goes up in smoke.
Still running North America partner channel but he lost XBS channel.
