UHG is laying off massive amounts of American employees and moving their positions to the Philippines, Ireland, and India. If you are like me and p-ss-d that this American company is doing this just to save money with cheap labor, don't just post your comments here. Email your congressman, senator, the White House... let them know what this company is doing. It is up to us to get the word out about this company's practices. If we don't notify them, nobody else will. This practice has to be stopped. USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!

Time and Time again I have stated the best resolution to this issue is a Unionize. Google just did it. It is obvious UHG doesn't care about its employees that can be seen by pay and benefits. A Union will go in and set boundaries. No more board member bonus and pay out. No more 3million dollar CEO salaries. The company is too big for one person to take on. There is no job security and certainly the code of ethics do not apply. I am exhausted working under these conditions. Will I be laid off, will my work load keep constantly increasing. Will there be a 5 application to monitor production. My Sup is dumb as a rock. NO clue. We all join together and we have someone to represent us. No more surprise layoffs better benefits, better pay. Yes it does cost money but I am willing to pay for a better peace of mind. Knowing that I have a voice.
They dont have to pay health insurance for those countries. The irony is that they reduce the funding base for insurance in general for the US by doing that. The worst of the worst.
Contact the EEOC as well!!! Make our voices heard!
I think what conflicts me is that the money from the contracts we administer in the case with m&r or c&s is either our federal tax dollars or state tax dollars. We want our government to be great stewards of our money while balancing opportunities for workers within our country. I wonder if we then bite ourselves in the foot when we lay off the people however that funded those buckets so their tax dollars move to unemployment which requires more tax dollars. Then they switch to a new employer feeding back into the taxes. Hopefully this balances out economically.
