In 2018, the L3 catch-up match got posted to Fidelity accts every payday. 2019, they decided to "make it better," for them, I guess, and not post the entire year's catch-up match until Jan 2020. Still haven't gotten it. Now they're saying, "well, sometime this quarter." Has anyone gotten theirs? L3 Greenville has definitely not and we're getting worried...

Wouldn't this fall under the classification of falsification and false representation? No doubt there is an element of age discrimination that is rampant across the organization. The ADEA Act protects employees over the age of 40. Has anyone floated the idea of a class action lawsuit? In my research, I am starting to see age (and gender) lawsuits starting to crop up against L3. Might be worth looking into. Note the growing pool of employees UNDER the age of 35 and the lack of the same opportunities for advancement which are denied to employees over 40. One might be very surprised at how L3 is trending.
Fair? What about the program that was offered to those over-55 employees and now appears to be at risk? Is that fair? And those new hires are probably going to be gone in a year or two whereas the older workers (and the new hires who happen to be older) will still be here. Unless one of those unexpected, unplanned layoffs should occur.
The pension checks are the priority,no sure the catch-up for those over 55 is fair to all the newer hire employees. Best to increase salary for new hires that carry the company.
