Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

This Place Stinks BUT....

It is a job. Am I 100% happy with my job or this company? Heck no, BUT it is a job. So many people living on the streets would love a job and I have one. Yes, I wish things were different. I’ve been with the company for over 15 years and have seen so many changes that only hurt people (including 2 of MY positions being eliminated), but I persevered. I wasn’t happy about it but I did what I had to do.

This company has so many down sides to it but it is a job. If you don’t like your job and think you can find another one than go for it. You deserve it, but in the mean time, be thankful you have at least a job.

WM only thinks of themselves. They could care less about another WIN number in the store. We should care about ourselves first.

You are right. I think where many struggle is changing their mindset from the "we" to "I" mentality. After so many years of strong teamwork and caring for your extended family, to the realization that doesn't matter anymore can ge difficult for many. Just reading your comment is it all. "I" is the focus and really that's what is going to get the rest of us through it going forward. Can't worry about anyone else. Do my job & go home.
