Any other interested parties might as well just wait for the chapter 7 bankruptcy and buy for pennies on the dollar.

The stalking horse bid that DFA has requires deans to pay 15 million if they get any other interested parties

Its unlikely anyone is interested in buying all of Deans mainly due to the pensions, the unsecured debt and secured revolver. Doesn't help that the geniuses (not!) in management HID $189 Mil in a so-called AR securitization facility, away from the bankruptcy process. Who would buy such a stinkin pile of poo? Milk products? Seriously?? You know what the DEALER's margins are on a Tesla M? Saputo passed on Deans for good reason – volume, but no VALUE. the Wall St. analysts can't be wrong for 18-24 months now and they don't expect any buyers. This brand will be buried like so many other tired old brands out there. Millenials can't even spell MOO, let alone drink milk. And check out the latest US demographics - 60% immigrants, minorities or foreign born, 55% women, 30% millenials. Which of these is Deans target market?

Execs claimed they talked to over 100 potential buyers. Guessing most of that was like what happened with Bordens. Dean Foods called saying please, please, please buy us and 99 responses were laughter.
