Friend of mine who has worked at Hyvee all her life and was recently diagnosed with cancer just got demoted to part-time. What they’re doing is ruining people’s lives, all for what, to save a few bucks? Media attention is the only way to stop the layoffs. Do it before your next

Don’t worry if you keep the hard work up. You might get a chance at becoming a store director. Of course you won’t ever make the Salary as before those days are over! Plus with them cutting all of your store help who would want to be in charge. They will expect your store to be spotless with no help. They are setting the stores up for failure and will blame the store manager for failed stores. Honest question will you be looking to leave HyVee soon?
What Hy-Vee is doing, is ruining lives. I’ve moved my family everywhere to receive my dream job of a Store Director. Not going to lie, it was hard, and being a Store Director was stressful, but I pushed through it. Now they stepped me down to a “co-manager” with someone who is not as qualified as I am. I am now making less money than before I even became a Store Director at Hy-Vee.
The sad part about this is the people.
All these people getting their life screwed because management can't 5figure out what to do.
Saving labor is only part of the equation, dumba$$ Randy!
You can stand up there and talk sh!t all you want at meetings and complain about how unfair it is that hyvee gets singled out for layoffs when other company's do it and it goes unnoticed.
At least take responsibility, you coward. You did this. It's misguided and the decision has been yours and it will cripple this company. Judging how morale is and just how this last weekend went it's already happening, pal.
