I left before the b@#tards could fire me because I dared to use their insurance for a minor but necessary outpatient surgery. I was suddenly being written up for trivial things. I had seen this movie before and knew how it ended, so I found another job, turned in my notice, and left 7 months ago. I had committed the sin of using 4 whole days of medical leave after years and years of service. My replacement left after 4 only months because it was too stressful. And a little birdie told me today that her replacement is also leaving very soon.
If they had allowed I would still be:
- Doing my best work and taking care of their customers
and
- Stressed out up to my eyeballs.
I am still doing A for a competitor who appreciates it, but I'll never do B again!
Thank you, Doily girl. It's good to be me but it sux to be you.
