Im grade 5 at 85k and thats normal, so your numbers are really off...

I'm grade 5 @ 75k

I think there is a lot of variation due to locality. Engineers in CA make more than engineers in OR or AZ, for instance, due to cost of living adjustments. Looks to me like a lot of folks in CA put their info into the tool, otherwise, I've been told over and over I'm in the middle of my range, that makes no sense based on what they posted on the site referenced.

I am a grade 7 in Massachusetts and I get 195000 a year. Most of us get even more than that

That looks like total comp or I'm getting f—ed. Base is probably 20k below that

These numbers seem to be total compensation, right? Base salary + quarterly bonus + annual bonus + RSU package. Geography varies... so that needs to be considered.

Which site are these for? I'm a grade 7 in Chandler, AZ and I'm being told I earn too much and need more scope, when according to this post, I'm actually at the lower end.

Those numbers are base salary?
