Anyone still waiting for their severance check? I sent my paperwork in weeks ago and Haven’t received anything
I have never had severance pay so you should consider yourself very lucky.
I don't think I have been in a place that use that word anymore.
Depends on a lot of factors. If you’re part of an acquired company the former company policy will likely apply. Generally it’s 2 weeks for every full year of service. Managers get a minimum of 4 weeks regardless of tenure. If you’re hourly you may get nothing. If you’re in sales it’s some kind of average of the prior 12 months of commission.
Anyway there are a ton of factors that can affect a severance package.
