Honestly. If Oracle can't win awards for cloud technology, surely they can win the award for strategic and "quiet" layoff strategies. As Oracle's position in the marketplace and lackluster sales continue to go down in flames, they are slowly and quietly axing 1300 people in Europe. You won't hear of it on CNBC or Fox Biz but you know its happening.

That actually happen?
Yeah f— that VP who thinks it is good to openly mock someone for wearing a Christmas jumper. At Christmas.
So much b—s— talked about mindfulness, empathy and bring your whole self to work only to have a VP mock you in front of your peers.
I hope we all call out this b—s— behavior if we see it in the future!
The worst thing they can do is sit around. I know so many people surprised by today's call.... You id–ts! You believed in this VP... He thinks you care what he eats for Christmas Dinner... Has the balls to slag a freshy for wearing a Christmas sweater. What a beauty of a failure as a leader... And all the people counting down days to retirement without caring about technology of the future... Eff you too. All complicit. What a disaster. Hang your heads in shame
For the people who go out– I think you guys are lucky where the market is hot and get better positions with hike. Those who are sticking in with O- will feel the pain shortly as once market saturates. No one want to hire if they see big O in the resume and the longer you stay the higher the chance to loose.
On the other hand, lots of people in my org just sitting to vest their RSUs and do nothing. Starting from VP to ICs. Having fun and waiting for the sev package. Good luck to the people who are already out. Pls wish us luck for us as well.
