Extreme Networks Leadership Has no clue how to operate a business appropriately. With all the acquisitions they still do not understand how to conduct effective business strategies. They like to hype themselves up but their R&D is horrid. They are recycling old products, they had to acquire Enterasys, Zebra, Avaya, AeroHive, because their R&D is stuck with pretentious engineers and does not have the know how’s to correct their business model.

The leadership team doesn't have an idea about anything. Acquire a new company every year and talk big about their products and fire the people who were already there. No good work gets done because of bickering and one-upmanship among the new guys and the old guys. Everyone will be b—s—ting and talk up about about their products. Once they realize the true value and the old guys are fired, the new guys realize its just a matter of time before it happens to them and they start this cycle again once a new company is acquired.
True, their R&D is not the brightest of the bunch
