Dear employee, If you want to keep working for us, you will need to move to the nearest site that is designated as a hub for your function. If not, your last day of work will be the 30th. We've attached a list of apartments near the approved site. You can stay there while you figure out what to do with your house. Or whatever. We realize you are the best "2" in your role. And that the business you serve says they can't meet their goals without you. And that you won't actually be working with anybody at the new site. You simply have the wrong zip code.
We must fulfill KM's dream of hundreds of cheap, compliant, group-thinking robots in a big room, clicking away. Our new MOS is based on IBM's KLOC philosophy. We need to get this census summary onto a single page for TM before he leaves. TM's backfills need to do something big. And DC still wants payback for his Sarasota trip. So it is very important and impactful that we do this. Please note, we are already aware that we sent your husband a similar notice, and that his department has a different hub location. You will figure it out. Or not. This is the commitment needed to be a futureshaper. Or, if your boss agrees this is BS, many of you can just get a POBox and phone number in Charlotte or Phoenix. Wink wink. Sincerely, Zorg Industries
Is this just another pass at eliminating undesirable identities and changing the demographics? After all, HMcW says (for real) it's worth a few months delay to reject qualified white males and find someone more interesting. What astounds me is that TM invested millions to enable any qualified engineer to work any project regardless of location.
How far is this going to go? Or, when will they move on to the next RIFnitiative?
