Funny thing is I was reduced last year. Took my unemployment and applied for 4 or more jobs a week online and not once got an interview or call. Some jobs were the same as I held for years. I was in management and received RRP and a decent chunk each year. How can a valued employee not get a call on any positions across the US and even onsite. I had said I'd be happy to move but still crickets and thanks for your interest but we moved on with other candidates.
Crazy but early retirement is ok.
If you received an email about an open position that you didn't apply for it means you're on a layoff list and they are trying to find you a new position.
