Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Heads will roll next week

be prepared for the 30 minute meeting on your calendar and the check to make sure you will be in the office on that day. if you were force ranked to a meets most then you are done. if you are meets then its going to be coin flip. Next up, remote workers come to the office or take your severance and go.

And yes, my performance was "meets most" expectations when I was canned..feels like I was targeted...all good though...karma will find those who threw me under the bus...not worried at all!

That’s the only talent fiserv leadership has. Swearing and belittling. It’s a pathetic group of people. Frankly an embarrassment to the profession

Do not trust SH on bit! I have seen him first hand in meetings throw his people under the bus when HE should have taken responsibility. What a pathetic excuse for a leader. Going all the way back to the historic customer facing outages in February and June of 2018 - devastating outages - where we all suffered. Although it was SH’s Group that directly caused the outages and then didn’t know how to fix it in a timely manner - did SH take responsibility - NO! He blamed his team, while the rest of ETG had to endure profanity fueled conference calls from MW and Byron - belittling and some of the worst profanity I have ever had to sit through. Worst excuse of leaders I have ever seen.

Coin flip for a "meets"? Rubbish. The vast majority of employees receive this ranking. You might as well say the prospect for most employees is a coin flip, which, to be honest, has kinda always been the case.

Just remember that aside from Fiserv there is also FIS and Global Payments going through the same thing by shedding people.

I'd love to take a severance package. I think recruiters know that they can poach people from Fiserv right now, because i have been contacted three times this past week, and have three interviews for more money this week alone without actively looking. Note, they are all work from home opportunities. If you are in a sh–ty part of the business getting forced to come into the office. The market is ripe for movement with more money else-ware, and Fiserv's FB doesn't care about you anyways. So you should take care of yourself, and move off this Titanic f— up, before it blow up in the SVP's, clients and shareholders faces.

If you are rated at 'meets expectations' you are safe. I've been an Original Fiserv employee for a LONG time and have seen the review process change numerous times. True that there are several 'meets' tiers but 'meets expectations' people will NOT be a coin flip as most people will get this rating.

You all are just making noise. The truth is that you're either going to play by OFD rules or you'll be gone. Period, end of story.

No way Jose! "Meets most" has not survived the last 2 layoffs so how is this scenario even possible? If you really know the facts then you would know that within "meets" there are 3 tiers of ranking. So just because you are a "Meets" does not mean you are safe. It's a numbers game and always has been. If there are not enough cuts to make the numbers then where do you think they are going to pull from?

The poster also said " if you are meets then its going to be coin flip" which is what I was referring to!

The poster said “forced ranked to a MEETS MOST”... he didn’t say “meets”.

This criteria for layoffs is no surprise to OFD folks This is in line with previous FD layoffs.

Not true and I know for a fact! If you have 'Meets' you are safe, 2 consecutive reviews less than 'Meets' are you're gone.
