Where’s the Ax-Man with his updates?
In Turkey , Egypt, Israel , Russia , Dubai there are many high costs facilities
Aren't wages much lower in those locales than in Western Europe or the US?

EMEA is also Middle East, Africa .... and don't forget APAC (without Japan) that are also part of this ORG.
In Turkey , Egypt, Israel , Russia , Dubai there are many high costs facilities, Salaries and useless admin/Finance/contracts organizations that will be reduced under the radar 15% each cutting sessions when the majority will be before Q4 earning calls.
@1pjm+13UJE7zV or Ax-Man, you are well informed.
Yesman PM has been put in charge of reducing EMEA HC about 25%. Make your own calculations...
There are around 4k employees in Romania and only 300+ in Poland. Even taking rid of whole offices there won't get even close to 10k.
The Ax-Man here, coming to you from Oracle London City Office in the EC1 area of London, next to Moorgate Tube Station. Travel is still OK here, for now.
To the OP: the current 2,000 layoff is understated and only the first phase of EMEA regional layoffs.
It will be reaching approximately 10,000 over the next 12-16 months as the layoffs will spread to Eastern European countries like Romania and Poland. Western Europe is only Phase 1 ... the tip of the iceberg.
If you don’t have your Plan B in place, you’d best get moving on it.
Does the CSM role fall under sales? Is there a sales quota with the position?
This is not news. Welcome to the site.
