This sick and personal policy needs to be changed. Why be penalized for when life happens? Especially entering someone home.
If people are planning on staying home, they definitely are gonna need internet. If internet goes down, they calling, you think they gonna tell a tech they sick?
You know how many times I've gone into a sick house? You know how many times a fellow coworker has come to work sick?
Sometimes it's the reason why some come to work sick, so they dont lose the overtime. Or sick time is not enough. The northeast makes more than the south and other areas due to the cost of living and other factors. So why have sick time the same? Northeast has more people per square mile. Greater exposure. If pay is different, then sick time should be different.
Overtime is needed, since raises are questionable, and career progression is laughable.
We need a different approach. Google the company that made 70k the minimum salary for employees.
