All for greed, with Americans losing jobs. Buy American, keep American medical records here, worked by US employees. Do patients, providers even know this is happening? Makes me ill.

I don't think they'll lay nurses off, they're advertising for lots of RN positions in different states. It costs so much to train people, why would they lay off to just have to fill the positions again? Wouldn't make sense.

There are nursing jobs moved overseas already, a CAC told me. SNF approvals some precert, appeal, does anyone know what else? It hasn't been announced but it's happend already. Theyrewill probably eventually send what they can over there, you're right...GREEDY
These jobs going overseas are not nursing jobs, doctors, etc. They have to do with billing and where it is cheaper for them to get the same results as in the states....only not having to pay employees as much.

I was an employee of Optum360, doing medical billing for Quest Diagnostics, up until I was laid off in 2018. My job was outsourced to India.
Companies only care about numbers anymore—not about how loyal their employees are. I had almost 20 years there.
It's a shame, but greed will be their downfall.
Hopefully the president will encourage the most dominant US healthcare company UHG Optum to stop outsourcing jobs overseas then. US medical records being managed overseas, demographics, etc.....how is that not a concern? US jobs. IT, nurses, skilled people being outsourced.
Buy American. Biden won't care either. We need a President that will care about American jobs. Not just say it to get into office.
My bottom line is my nursing job that allows me to feed my kids. If I lose it to someone in the Philippines it's going to be extra awful.
It is US companies that betraying people of US. I will buy products from any countries as long as they are good quality and reasonable price. When US companies only care about their bottom line, I also only care about my bottom line too.
Since Trump was in India last month, I doubt he cares.
