Word is that BNY, Northpointe location is closing this year. Many people are being let go. My last day is Friday. Picked up a new job when I saw the writing on the wall.

Isn’t that a big and out of the way place with a lot of social distancing space? It would seem to be just the right time to do the opposite and use it as a controlled clean place for workers.
That's insane.. and even if they did, it would only affect a few people.. the others would move back to downtown which is closer to home or decide to retire anyway. They potentially could close the site although harder than sounds, but most of that staff still keeps their jobs, and in some groups they are actually hiring.

Rumors started in Pune, then people at Northpointe started disappearing left and rite. Didn't take long to put that puzzle together.
What a shame. Lotsa good hard working people over at northpointe. That place was a lifeboat to get away from the insanity of One Mellon Center and the CSC. I wish everyone the best.
