Damn, the market volatility is like nothing we’ve ever seen.

This is bad, guys. Really bad.

The best part of all this is knowing the people that thought they’d never get laid off are the ones that will be let go with no severance. The depression is upon us, unemployment is going to 50%. S—s to be at state street, a miserable company with miserable employees. Oh how the mighty will fall.

The stock market is extremely volatile. Anyone with half a brain knows what’s coming. I hope people have some savings to get through the layoffs.

EMERGENCY:

The OP needs a waaaambulance!! Anybody know of a hospital that’s specializes working on teeny tiny brains and weak little itty-bitty hearts?

To everybody else:
How about this weather? Early spring? I think we’d deserve it! What are some little happy things y’all look forward to doing after this virus lifts?

Don’t let people like the OP drag you into their negative vibes. They’re like this for a reason (sad life)

DJIA is now at 19,173. WOW. The losses are getting to the point that companies are going to be closing down. Layoffs will be the least of your problems.

@8eov+13WHnjei.
You seem a bit intimidated by someone who has done nothing but warn people on here of the crash that ACTUALLY IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!!!! There is no doubt OP has correct information, we are witnessing the crash in real time every day. Layoffs are being projected by the news to be at 1929 Great Depression levels— read it for yourself. It would appear that YOU are the one that needs psychological help. But I doubt you will survive the chaos that is coming soon since you appear to be in denial of the events unfolding right now in the financial industry.

I’m glad I went all cash in my 401k back in December, I never imagined the stock market would fall this bad. And I’m glad I am waiting to buy a house, real estate is going to come down next with everybody losing their jobs.

No severance packages

Layoffs coming sooner than you think...

Hope you don’t have a big mortgage....housing market is about to take a nose dive.

You've gotta admit, the OP has been on the money about this crisis from day one. He's definitely made a believer out of me. And I heard from a very reliable source this morning that people who die of Covid-19 are coming back as zombies, like in The Walking Dead. That's a game-changer. The authorities are trying to keep that quiet for obvious reasons, but they won't be able to cover it up for long.

If you have a leased Audi, now, like TODAY, is the time to get out of that lease and get into a Jeep. You're going to need a vehicle that can drive over all the bodies that will be littering the roadways in the next few weeks as you make your way to your bugout location.

You're welcome.

So no one will have a job. It was all planned. The bio weapon was released to cover the controlled demolition of the stock market.

state street will be the least of your problems.

And you all deserve what’s coming.

@nob+13WHnjei
Seems to be very afraid of truth. Wake up buttercup, we are about to go to a mad max world this summer.

Sorry you didn’t prepare and lost 35% of your 401k.

Hope you have all your debt paid off, have at least a year’s worth of food/water and you know what else...dark times coming to USSA.

There are a lot of scared people on this thread. And rightly so...you haven’t seen anything yet.. stock market collapse, bankruptcies, foreclosures, divorces and social unrest.

If you’re an employee, get ready to be unemployed. For a very long time.

A nation that lived way beyond their means on debt....how stupid can you be?

You know I’m right.

This virus is going to cause a major disruption in business as usual.

Expect layoffs, bankruptcies, home foreclosures and of course divorce.

And no, the bull market is not coming back for a very long time.

A lot of people are going to lose their sh*t when society breaks down/ collapses and society will collapse.

I agree with the OP except the DOW is going to 9,000.

Bank on it.

It’s so good to see what goes around really does come around....

This crash is awesome. I knew it was co and I was prepared.

Can’t say the same for most of my coworkers. Gonna be some hard times on those who have a lot of debt and no job.

Lmfao....state street will not survive this global economic disaster.

Lmfao at all the executives with their big mortgages who will be facing the harsh reality of the housing crash that is upon us as I write this....get ready to see housing crash 40-50%, at a minimum.

S—s to be an employee at state street, with a big mortgage and a leased Audi, lol.

Ahhhhhhhhh life is so good right now.

@vsd+13WHnjei Agree about this being an unprecedented event. The last pandemic was the Aids/Hiv pandemic. This of course was only relevant to a certain percentage of the population.
Before that we had the Flu Pandemic of 1968. Many of the current population were not even born yet. Additionally, I don't recall hearing about this influencing many families or friends. The recent stock market plunge is the worst that I can recall.

Lol the original poster might be one of the most bitter and insecure people on the internet. They spam this feed weekly, easy to tell by their writing style. My guess this person was let go for being incompetent, but also because they’re a bummer to be around. They obviously have not found another job - why else be so bitter and active in this feed? Maybe they should try to find counseling and not project their insecurities on this snoboy
Plus message board.

Everybody knows the future of SS is outsourcing and automation - most people are planning the next steps of their career....except for this sad little troll who can’t figure out why all these companies keep passing on them (backdoor references describe them as unbearable to be around) and why they can’t hold down jobs they do get (everybody feels uncomfortable around them).

They keep talking about doomsday, because in that scenario everybody is suffering and they don’t have to be alone in their misery anymore.

  • I know you’re reading this! Try to smile and find little things in life that make it worth living :) Take things one day at a time and keep those negative vibes to yourself, good things will follow

Don't act as if this is a normal stock plunge and not an extraordinarily global event that has nothing to with this or any company's finacials. Playbook goes out the door on this one.

Executive Management has no choice but to implement the company's emergency survival plans.

The company must survive!
