Do you know there is a plan to grow headcount, how many employees currently work here? How about the HQ at Hoffman Estates?

Out of morbid curiosity I took a look at the website to see in what sorry state it was. I guess they let go whoever had the job of updating the store locator, as it appears that many stores that closed over a month ago still remain listed as open.
First of all Sears is just a brand. Not a company. Transformco is the new company. From what I know there are about twelve hundred associates at HE. Company wide there are over thirty thousands. Eddie made a promise to retain some employees to meet minimum requirement during the bankruptcy agreement. After that period expired he will let more heads rolling. Forget about increase the headcount, Unless you counted the head rolling.
Grow headcount, by shrinking headcount?
Things are changing. We used to be a catalog company, right... Than, that changed...
@xej+13cyTq0r Why is that horrible? I think it's an excellent idea, as the future of shopping is online. Full line stores, are really obsolete in 2020. I can't remember when I was last in a store (except for groceries). I buy everything else, (besides food & Alcohol) online. Most companies have free shipping now anyway.

There are currently 2649 employees working here. The HQ at Hoffman Estates has 396 employees.
The plan to grow headcount is simple and currently in place: 1. close large stores lay-off the associates 2. Open smaller stores staffed with a Skelton crew, and sell big ticket items that can be purchased cheaper online, primarily, appliances, mattresses and lawn and garden equipment
