Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel was losing employees. So it created an anonymous hotline to help unhappy workers!

"We wanted to get on the front end of what was happening in retention and have a proactive way to address employees' concerns before they were ready to exit out the door," said Barbara Whye, Intel's chief diversity and inclusion officer.

Reminds me to Chinese Apple Foxconn factories: they use window nets to preserve losing employees while Intel is using fairy-tale hotlines. It is very strange indeed the state that Intel is today - from one of the most desired companies to work for, after 2016 they became company which has an issues with employee retention. Who thought that firing in 2016 all experienced middle employees and replace them with cheaper unexperienced millennials will not come with a price?

It would be quite interesting to see how many of the complainers are also being shown the door... If you haven't yet figured it out; there is NO SUCH THING as an "anonymous" hotline. Everything about the system you're using is logged (ip, net/subnet, MAC address, etc., so they know exactly who sent what.)

If that anonymous hotline were useful, people wouldn’t come here for info.
