Thread regarding Fry's Electronics layoffs

Fry's Electronics Las Vegas

At least that they are fully stocked.

The other places unfortunately are not fully caught up at this time.

It's not fully stocked. I was just there today. They've just filled shelves with big items like chairs, desks, computer cases, etc.. The computer department is now stocked with low-grade hardware like you'd find on eBay or AliExpress. The video game section is sad and all of the accessories and consoles they used to have are just gone. Cell phone department looks like the computer department with low-grade product and brands I've never heard of.

I wonder if you are a currently employee of the Las Vegas Store or any of the other stores for having such an "accuracy" in your postings regarding what is available or not at the stores. If you are working for Fry's, you should be trying to assist customers instead of gossiping against your employer. If you are an ex-employee you should use your time to find a new job instead of wasting tax payers money collecting unemployment insurance while gossipn against your former employer. Bottom line is...get a life dude!

stocked with... what? Last reports/pictures/videos were of a few old motherboards and one non-compatible CPU, no GPUs and some old DDR3 ram, along with a lot of rows of cardboard boxes to fill out the aisles.

I think you may have some disconnect with what 'fully stocked' entails. I'm sure we'd all love some details of what they magically received in the last couple days, because of last week it was still confirmed product graveyard.

Yes, It is fully stocked in the Computer Components and Accessories isle. They do have other stuff but this category is the only one I care about!

Pay attention to what was actually stocked. It’s all obsolete teceh or sketchy off brand Chinese junk. Might as well be a physical store front for Ali Express.

I heard it's just the caronavirus causing delays from China, if it wasn't for that they'd be fully stocked with everything.

Fully stocked with what? Stuff...

The retail equivalent of packing material. Who's going to consign anything worth anything? The manufacturers don't want to get stuck with anything either. Fry's Thrift Store.

Fully stocked? Did you even see the video? It's not fully stocked at all. Far from it. They just rearranged what's left of their stock to hide open spaces.
