Backroom associates

So at our club we only have 2 full-time backroom associates... There is only one person who does claims and the other one does receiving...the person who does claims doesn't know how to drive a lift but she helps out with checking things in and paperwork..I think it's unfair that she has to do claims by herself because it's a full time job within it's self with making sure transfers..RTV .. liquidation ect gets done within the time frame that home office wants it done ..idk what were they thinking when they made the move to take down the cage and move the claims person into the receiving office because there's no room to do claims work with all of the things they have to process while still trying to help out in receiving....it's dumb and frustrating

We have 3 in the AM and 2 in the PM but it took several months to finally get it that way permanently. The dock has been less and less overrun with freight over the last 3 months and we have a pretty good, steady system to stay on top of that part. But....claims is the one area that gets sacrificed in achieving all that. There really should be at least 1 full-time person on claims, with possibly 1 part time backup.

They do this because the company no longer cares about what we have to do to have our jobs done on a daily basis ! They will keep dumping more and more on everyone until we are all gone ! This company has gone so down hill in the last few years ! Members are always complaining about how the floor is so messy with all the pallets around and everyone hates the new and improved refund / membership desk. Managers no longer care - they just want us all to keep giving more and more ! I am a backroom associate and anymore I just do what I can do until 12:30 comes around and what isn’t done will have to wait until the next day ... I wish I could say the afternoon backroom associate would do it ... but they barely do anything but sit in the office and occasionally unload a truck ... managers don’t pay as much attention to that shift as they do the first shift ! The whole company is nothing but a sh– show
