Do something you say you are going to do. Agreement employees are tired of waiting on collective bargaining, we want current perks and benefits that matter now. Base the bonus off the yrs of service. Give a paid day or two off for every yr worked safe and let them accrue. We have done this before.

Bad ordered for hearing that’s a laugh half the guys in the shops can’t hear $hit and that’s coming from working with them daily and the nurse when we take the yearly hearing test. Any third generation railroader knows that those types of promises are empty and will never happen, your family members would tell you that too if you listened but I’m assuming you are deaf to the truth.

These bonuses will be you get to keep your job and that you don’t get laid off. Mr. 9% signed a pledge with a bunch of other CEO’s saying they would prioritize employees over profit, and start investing in employees and placing less focus on shareholders profits from their investments in August last year(the company had bragged about it on the company website but if you try to find it now it’s nowhere to be found....shocking I know). Since then they have laid off employees and plan to continue to cut an additional 3,000 employees this year....that doesn’t sound like investing into your employees at all....actually it sounds like the opposite of what is stated in the pledge. I’ll even share the website for those who will claim it never happened you’ll have to scroll down to see his signature and all the ceos are listed by the companies the work for alphabetically so here it is.

And yes we already know that we can purchase more up stock through the agreement thrift. Anyone can buy up stock any number of ways. How dumb to bring that up. Matching is what we want. Options are what we want. Bonuses are what we want. Safety days are what we want. Please just quit telling us that because we are agreement we can't do that. YES YOU CAN! Skirt the agreements for something good for a change.
This was a question posed in the town hall meeting numbnutz. He said he is going to personally take this one to heart. On call 24-7 was something you agreed to. You were better at "on-calling" than "working". If you can't handle it go back to agreement because we are about to start getting bonuses and all that good stuff!!!
Give me give me give me....go do your 8 hours of work for 8 hours of pay and be happy you arent on call 24/7 and working 12 plus hour days like non-agreement.
When there was upper management that realized the value of the employees we never got offered those things, they definitely aren’t going to be offered at this point nothing but pipe dreams. They just tell us be glad you have a job now get back to work.
