Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

RK Dixon is safe

There have been a lot of rumors floating around that things are bad in IT at RK Dixon. Nothing could be further from the truth. The people who have left recently have not done so because of any bad things happening or because they anticipate something bad happening. The IT manager left because he is moving across the country and the security person was stolen by a competitor. Neither one of them had planned on staying at RK Dixon long.

Things are great at RK Dixon and the future is bright with Xerox!

This post was definitely written by someone in leadership.

It's not hard to see that the future with Xerox is not a bright one. If you don't, you're either not paying attention or choosing to ignore reality. If you watch the webinars, read their emails and observe what's happening around you, you'll see that Xerox's actions and words don't match up. They keep saying "tech powerhouse", but yet I see no real tech being presented. They are constantly laying people off, reducing benefits and changing staff. Everything that's been happening since Icahn took over is only for one reason: his greed. He's not looking to improve the company. He's not looking to make sure Xerox has a long future or a strong offering. He's only doing all this for his own benefit (and the benefit of the shareholders). JohnV is his voice, and even he can't sell it.

Assuming this post is not a joke, have a look at XRX revenue before deciding the future is bright. Ignore stock price, because the investment community has yet to realize that fraudsters are running the company and the 3 year plan is a dream, not a plan. A plan requires staffing, funding, and actions to achieve. It’s a big company, but from the R&D side none of that is visible to me.

RK Dixon is expanding! They plan to open 12 more locations in the next month in central Illinois.

"Instead of just blindly pushing forward, how about having some real dialogue with employees instead of posting this garbage on what many have called a "gossip" site?"

Dialogue and a change partnership would be fine but there ain't time. This is all about kicking this business into shape so it can be sold or merged or whatever so value can be extracted.

ya probably as good as they are at my core
the transition is awful once your core president signs off on the tollgates watch out, that's when it truly goes down the sh–ter
you will get bullied to transition the work so they tell the bigwigs they the offshore teams are doing all the work
what they won't tell you is that they can't get all the work done, they make a ton of mistakes, they don't care
it's just the start of a huge mess, our database is now just a mess

The unfortunate side effect of making a post like this (which was, I assume, to counter the other one) is that it's had the opposite effect; it's opened up a dialogue in which most people are pointing out the obvious - things are not good. I can personally vouch for RK... things. are. not. good. Instead of just blindly pushing forward, how about having some real dialogue with employees instead of posting this garbage on what many have called a "gossip" site?

Either way, our destiny is out of our hands. Xerox is tanking us. That's a fact. There's nothing we can do about it.

Yup, we're all safe, no worries...under the TLC of a corporate raider.

"stolen by a competitor" - as in legalized kidnapping??? How about - "got a better deal"

Pay no attention to the water rising around you. Nothing to see here. Everything is perfect. - Management

I love when leadership posts on this site. What a joke.
