Correct. UP is a joke.
I live in the area and work for this company. When I tell people where I work I am always asked what is going on there? Are you going to lose your job? The image of said company isn’t what it once was. I think in 2018 they were offering 20k as a sign on bonus “paid out in small increments of course” with not many people showing interest from what I was told.
Well they are looking for some energetic interns. Or whatever they can get lmao. I remember a long time ago when I was looking for a job a lot of recruiters show up at these career fairs and they’re not even hiring. Like wtf are we wasting each other’s time? They want to keep their name out there etc. I’m sure UP has like 3 bs jobs they’re hiring for but they’ll show up at this career fair in Omaha and try to save face.with the local community.
