There is no space for meetings, Store is small, cafe is nothing fancy. And this Rachel lady well it’s fun to watch because it’s so ridiculous. The last minute changes are costing a fortune
It is going to fail, it is not scalable and it is not sustainable. If you read the article and see the information about the cost of this store, it is obvious. As Macy’s cuts expenses as their #1 priority, how did this get approved? All Rachel did was talk to a lot of rich people in a rich town in Texas and went on a wild spending spree with her friends who make in store visuals. (Kickback or planning her next job—you be the judge)
Does anyone believe the people in that town are going to stop shopping at Neiman Marcus so they buy Tommy Hilfiger polyester at Macy’s? This story will just create a lot of buzz and we will again have to listen to Rachel drone on about how “revolutionary” it is while the part of Macy’s that does make money is gutted.
No it actually looks like a cross between antrhopologie and banana republic, with our higher end merchandise. Includes a food/bar space and areas to rent out for meetings etc
So new dollar store junk coming to Texas ? Will alert the media!
