Yes, it will be.
With a great DDV and a good DVP you will have a good district. We are lucky we have both.
awful news
Seriously lol
The DDV position is NOT being eliminated
Very well said. Most don’t understand the role of visual in the stores, they are proactive in making sure things are set to standard, YES WE ACTUALLY HAVE STANDARDS that stores are supposed to adhere to. They also follow up and run behind and fix the mess when things aren’t executed properly. Visual is one of your best allies if you only knew it.
DDVs will be sorely missed... they are the ones who kept everyone in line with corporate standards and directives.
They also are the gatekeepers of all floorplans/ floormoves/projects. They are tasked with training everyone from DVP, and DMs to in-store teams.
If you dont think so, you either had a bad DDV, or are yourself a bad DM or MTM.
BTW, i am not a DDV
For you guys bashing on the DDVs, you have NO IDEA what their job entails.
If you have had a bad run in with visual than it is most likely because you don’t have the skill set to do your own job and you were held accountable.
Why don’t you walk a mile in their shoes before you judge.
What district was this that the DDV became a VPSM and when?
Ours was...but was given another job as a store manager.
Glad I was not the only one that found that statement.....interesting. DVD is the backbone, negative.
No idea
Yes
about time. The Visual team in the stores did some work. Yes. But the District Director if Visual was a waste!!!
Seriously? Lol
The dvd runs the world. If you don’t believe that or can’t see it, then you’re not in touch with the retail reality. Who do they think does everything? Visual is the backbone of the district and stores. Such a bad move is this is true.
