Had to evacuate the whole damn yard in Houston after it flooded and sent people on a 20 engine power move up north on bad order engines. management was like "hang on guys storm is about to blow over. oh sh– evacuate evacuate." then in the middle of the evacuation, CMS was still calling people in to work off extra board as instructed by local management lmao.
we had abandoned cars floating down the interstate and CMS is like hey guys the superintendent is telling us laying off weather isn't currently authorized you'll have to lay off sick or come into work. then after nearly k–ling everyone by not cancelling the jobs, UP has the nerve to post on social their thoughts and prayers are with the Harvey victims lol.
I can't wait for Lance to talk some more about safety on the latest earnings call. This company would never put profits over safety.
