Resign before end of month? Or wait it out to get the (hopeful) bonus?

Question for you all. My manager hasn’t said anything about a bonus to the team. Not sure they even know to tell us. Question is....I’ve had enough. I will be resigning soon and want to wait for the bonus, but not sure I can. If I hypothetically gave two weeks tomorrow, would I get the bonus if I left before the end of February? I’ve been with the bank for all of 2019. I figure I stayed past January, but not sure I would get the bonus if I leave before the last pay of the month, which according to last year was when the bonus was paid. Trying to find a policy somewhere, but had no luck. You guys know more about this than I do. New to bonuses and the financial industry culture. Thanks for the help.

Ride it out, like I did, until they hand you the papers. Take the SUB and everything else. Then milk it.

Wait for the money to hit your account and not before. They use that as leverage and will not pay it out any chance they get.

Managers can’t communicate merit or bonus until Feb 12.

Thanks for the replies. I'll stick around for a few more weeks to see what happens.

I think the policy says you can't have given notice.
